As a part of Peckham Festival Cassandra’s film ‘Self-Sufficient Sovereign’ was shown at Gal-dem’s Film Festival. The showing explored British women of colour working in film and was followed by a panel discussion regarding what it’s like to work in an industry that is overwhelming white and male.
